Congratulations to Ross Calman

ALHT is delighted that Dr Ross Calman (Ngāti Toa, Ngāti Raukawa-ki-te-tonga and Kāi Tahu) has been awarded the Prime Minister’s Award for Literary Achievement for his contributions to non-fiction.

Dr Calman received a scholarship from the Auckland Library Heritage Trust in 2015/16 and used it to visit Auckland Libraries to study the biography written by Te Rauparaha about his father.
